Moira Dedrick has studied life drawing, painting and portraiture at Studio Escalier in Argenton Les Vallee, and Paris, France with Timothy Stotz and Michelle Tully. She has also studied portraiture and landscape painting with Greg Hindle OCAD and landscape with John Joy in Canada. She has also done workshops with Dan Thompson, Tony Ryder and Ted Seth Jacobs.
Her artwork has been exhibited in solo, local and national shows and her paintings hang in private collections and Inns in Ontario, Quebec, and New York. She has had a one woman show at La Petite Gallery in Caledon East, been in the juried shows at the McMichael Gallery and the Dufferin County Museum, at the Steam Whistle Round House Gallery and John B. Aird Gallery in Toronto, in Bolton at Skylark Gallery as well as showing annually in the Orangeville Art Group Show and Sale.
She is a member of the Portrait Society of Canada and the Portrait Society of America.
